The Gun Nut II fixes loose pads and stripped out threads once and for all. Â This a permanent fix. Â Allows the user the ability to attach and remove their recoil pad, adjuster, or spacers as often as they want without the worry of wearing out the holes in the stock.
The Gun Nut has outside steel threads that are self tapping and cut threads into the wood rather than compressing wood which has no integrity. The flange at the back crushes the first thread to lock it into place. The inside threads are 8-32 tapped and there is a 5/32 socket broached in the back to turn the gun nut. Â Comes with universal mounting screws and 5/32″ Allen wrench.
